These are just basic things in Kotlin, not advanced. All of these concepts are found in other languages. I had waited for some more advanced things like serialization, coroutines... On the other hands, the course use Android as its main platform, which hides the concept of a main function, and it's not multiplatform. Seems like the course's title is a clickbait.
Honestly, it pains me to give the course this low of a rating. But it has the same issues as the Advanced UI course in the Meta Android certification. There's a lot of great information but half of it is not revisited in exercises or the final project. I understand programming will always require outside work, but why don't we have more rote practice in a certificate program aimed at teaching the basics. I learned a lot but they typos were super prevalent in quizzes and code snippets and it's disheartening. The final project was insanely straightforward and would have been suited to an exercise.
The course is extremely basic, most of the materials should belong to the "kotlin fundamentals" course. The tasks are straightforward and won't prepare you even a little for a proper job. The final task is a joke, the codebase even marks what you need to insert and where. I highly recommend you not to waste your time and money, you have higher chances of getting a job if you just read the official Kotlin docs.
