When will I have access to the lectures and assignments?

To access the course materials, assignments and to earn a Certificate, you will need to purchase the Certificate experience when you enroll in a course. You can try a Free Trial instead, or apply for Financial Aid. The course may offer 'Full Course, No Certificate' instead. This option lets you see all course materials, submit required assessments, and get a final grade. This also means that you will not be able to purchase a Certificate experience.

What will I get if I subscribe to this Specialization?

Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS) simplifies your data center architecture. It reduces the number of devices to purchase, deploy, and maintain and improves your ability to scale and manage the infrastructure. Here you will see the types of servers that are used in the Cisco data center. The list includes rack servers, blade servers, blade server chassis, storage servers, and hyperconverged systems. You will also become familiar with Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect components and their functions within the data center. The Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) Supervisor enables centralized management of standalone Cisco UCS C-Series rack servers that are located across one or more sites. The purpose is to reduce costs and increase efficiency in managing Cisco standalone servers. Cisco UCS Manager is the management system for all components in a Cisco UCS domain. Cisco UCS Manager runs on the management nodes (Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects). Any interface with this management service can access, configure, administer, and monitor the network and server resources for all Cisco UCS devices that connect to the fabric interconnects.

Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS) Manager is a central management and monitoring system for Cisco UCS servers. The system allows you to manage large-scale Cisco UCS deployments through a common interface. It supports monitoring, logging, and GUI management of Cisco UCS devices. The Cisco UCS Manager software runs on the Cisco Fabric Interconnect devices as part of the device design. After configuring the Cisco UCS Fabric interconnect domain, the Cisco UCS Manager interfaces are available on the IP addresses of the Cisco fabric interconnects.
