课程概述

Generative AI (GenAI) is now an essential skill for software developers keen to future-proof their careers. This course gives existing and aspiring developers the job-ready skills employers are looking for to build intelligent, adaptive, and secure solutions. You'll learn how to harness generative AI for code generation, software design, bug detection, testing, optimization, and documentation. You'll also explore how AI integrates into DevSecOps and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, supports translation, review, and security, and strengthens software delivery. You’ll examine large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and prompt engineering to gain insight into how to use these technologies effectively. Plus, you’ll look at agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for extending autonomy, and you’ll get hands-on with vibe coding tools and practices that transform how developers interact with code. You’ll also consider ethical and responsible AI practices to ensure you innovate responsibly. If you’re keen to leverage GenAI to build software faster and better so you can power your career forward, enroll today!...

The course was somewhat difficult to follow due to the AI voice implemented.

While the overall course was instructive, I very much disliked the videos with the high pitched voice that felt like screaming information overloaded sentences at me like a machine gun. While I had to frequently stop to let a sentence sink in and to go back to a screen that was left too quickly after displaying the last element, oftentimes the videos also were not more than a sales pitch, saying what is or might be done without given any information on the how. The videos would be better if they went slower with more explanation. The voice over should not just read out the slides or make one complete sentence with the key words presented, there should be some elaboration on it. The final project was a failure for me, as the code generated by the AI did not work and I even could not make it work from the given AI answers - some information was apparently missing.

I think most of the content is AI-generated. Very boring to learn. Most of them are theoretical speculation, I think. I have to speed up the video because of boring

I suppose this course is poorely generated by AI. Whole course feels like reading and listening to a washing-machine instruction. It overviews the usage of AI in every part of the software development cycle, but if you chat with chatGPT about this for an hour - it will give you better overview. The idea of the course it's good itself, hopefully someone else implements it better.

Most of the course is pretty general and projects are only copy and pasting prompt from gpt... The modules sounded very exciting up front but they unfortunately weren't

Too general and very redundant.

My overall review is 4.5/5 and here is the detail review: The course material is almost up-to-date, however, I would highly recommend updating the course material every 2-3 months because Generative AI is rapidly evolving field, and it changes now every day. The videos are captivating, informative and not too long, so learners can focus 100% of their attention. The hands-on labs were great because there is wide range of different AI models to try out, set instructions to each of them, and find the best one that suits your needs. By default, you are using GPT-3.5-turbo, however, my honest suggestion is to use the latest and most capable OpenAI's model GPT-4o it's much better than previous generation. I also recommend all of the learners compare the outputs from different models and always verify the generated output because Gen AI can produce bias and inaccuracy. Our goal as future Software Engineers (perhaps Prompt Engineers with minimal technical skills) is to identify the bias and false outputs, emphasize it and ask AI models to fix them or regenerate the response. I really liked the section about Ethical Consideration when using Generative AI tools, that material was up-to-date (7/20/2024). The final project gives you an opportunity to develop an innovative microservice from the scratch using Gen AI built-in in labs!

Seems like it's made by AI. Questions are not very well formulated and so you can't really tell which answer is correct (sometimes there are actual mistakes in the questions). Also, big parts of the content are not really relevant (like name of tools that do very specific AI powered things). And then you also have questions in the quizzes that require you to choose company names, which is quite stupid.

If you had hands on with AI for coding, here is a lot of theory and not much that will be of use. There are recommendations for paying software. The final lab had the AI window repeatedly crashing on me which meant losing the context of my prompts.

Bad final exercise, it does not work properly and there is no support.

What is true about the overall interview process? Candidates generally don’t ask questions of the interviewers. Second-round screens are usually the same. Interview processes can vary depending on factors like the type of position and size of company. Interviews are all different, and it’s not really possible to prepare effectively. 1 point 2. Question 2 Why would you be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before a
