I like and dislike aspects of the Meta Back End certificate. A lot of material is covered, but too thinly, and assignments/quizzes seem too difficult for the level of material covered. I also dislike all the jargon. I really believe that programming can be explained easily, but for some reason, people love making it technical and confusing.

The course is too vague I would say it does not provide complete details on any topics and leave it upon us to investigate which certainly takes time. It would have been better if they would provide us with sources that can help us learn and implement what they teach

The lecturer's speaking and the English subtitles are different. It's not the subtitles, it's the lecturer's fault. She also talks fast and has poor pronunciation.

This was more front end than back-end. A bit disappointed

It is an introduction front-end development course.

This course was simple. However, the content is confusing, and not correlated to assignments that you are getting through the whole process. You will understand what I'm talking about once you take python and javascript. You will spend too much time trying to figure out how to solve something that was purely explained in the videos and lectures. Also, assignments, requirements, and comments in the assignments are confusing and they throw you off later in the course (javscript and python). My advice is to take some other courses that are basic, and with better content, or you will lose a lot of time trying to figure out what to do, and their comments are throwing you off. This is for people that have experience with python and javascript. I am highly disappointed with the course overall!

Here's my impression of this course: "In this module you will learn about paintings. A painting is a visual depiction of a concrete or abstract object, represented on a two-dimensional surface with oil, acrylic, or water-based paints. You will now have the opportunity to practice making paintings: color all the number 1's with blue and all the number 2's with red. You have now learned how to paint and have developed the skills and abilities necessary to present and exhibit your work in museums. You are on your way to becoming a Dutch Master." Only slightly better than useless. One gets the impression that this course was developed by someone who has never had to teach anyone anything.

The specialization "Meta Back-End Developer Professional Certificate" contains peer-graded assignments, which get stuck at "Grading in progress" and the course cannot be completed!

I signed up for an Introduction to Back End Development course, however this course was for INTRODUCTION TO WEB DEVELOPMENT and had a focus on front end development.

This is not at all "back-end development" focused. The entirety of it is basics of web technology, and then frontend stuff.

extremely bad CX. From Meta I expect better quality, and people who understand the topics.

This is not an introduction to Backend Dev. I learned nothing from this course.

This is actually an introduction to FRONT-END. Wrong Course Content.

Getting stuck at course #4, unable to proceed to the next course.

Lots of mistakes, outdated information and huge amount of tests

I find the course is more focused on frontend than the backend
