Imagine taking a course on how to tie your shoes. You are shown very detailed pictures on how to tie them and told every detail about how to do it, but you don't have an actual shoe to practice on. How well do you think that would work out? That's just like this course. They give you great information and fairly good explanations, but the valuation spreadsheet that they constantly reference and show you over and over... they don't give you a copy! How in the world am I supposed to understand these concepts without using the tool?!!

Unfortunately the tables shown were not provided. From my perspective, this is a severe shortcoming of this course, as students should be motivated to applied their learnings in the real world/for practice.

Excellent. Great structured learning. Would have been better if we could get the Excel sheets also.

Its missing a lots of support matirial for the calculations , and the transcript its really confusing and unpractical to use

rather fast, not explaining in detail. some small mistakes but ok understandable. i would not recomend it

very poorly done. never went in depth with many topics and concepts. never made clear examples (except showing already completed ones...). Many questions weren't relevant to what was discussed in the videos. thank god there was chatgpt that explained me all of the terms and topics and questions in the videos. dis a poin ted

Module 4 final exam has a bug.

I recently completed the Mergers and Acquisitions Specialization by the University of Illinois through Coursera. The course was challenging and enriching, offering deep insights into valuation, deal structuring, and financial modeling. Great course to learn investment banking concepts and methods used to evaluate a company. The course itself touches upon evaluating established companies based on past performance, and analyzing start-ups based on projected future cash flows are explained in a succinct way. Topics such as financial spreads, comparable public company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, free cash flows and WACC are greatly explained.

Awesome. Basically in the 15 hours you could go from barely understanding to being able to build the complex financial analysis modeling. Helps a lot for entry-junior level investment bankers.
