Excellent overall exposure to people new to quantum technology. Maybe online Stim and Crumble console would help learn and try as download and trying offline may not be a first choice for new learners

The lectures are great but the assessments as pretty challenging and will require you to seek other resources for help. I would not recommend this course to a beginner with no experience in quantum computing because its pretty technical. However, it is well constructed and very informative. I will take it again to grasp the concepts even more.

Up until completing this course, my knowledge about the surface code was stitched together by reading multiple articles, often cross-referencing to understand terminology, and getting confused by mismatching notations. This course presents a first-of-its-kind coherent, concise and logically progressing explanation of stabilizers, the surface code, decoding and everything related to QEC. As an upcoming researcher in QEC, this course has been invaluable for solidifying my fundamentals in this field.

Not self-contained hence difficult. There are Youtube videos online that introduce Stim more gently.

Great introductory course to QEC that covers a lot in a short amount of time and definitely piques interest for further learning. It was particularly satisfying to learn, through the lab work, how exponential error reduction can be achieved.

Great introductory course. A couple of things were left out and needed external supplement in order to do the practice exercises. For example, a separate video of minimum weight perfect matching would have helped to understand the classical repetition code exercises.

Excellent course, but it should be rated advanced and not intermediate. Some of the questions on exam require knowledge outside of the course not covered in lecture videos.
