I enjoy the clear presentations of the lecturers. The lecture slides are extremely helpful. The lectures compliment very well the ideas mentioned in the textbook.

I am providing a rating for the entire Yellow Belt Specialization, which consists of four courses. This review covers the entire specialization, not just a single course. Compared to other, newer courses on Coursera, I would rate this specialization three stars. Often, the content feels like a blur of information. The instructors are only visible at the beginning, likely reading from a script. Some even pause awkwardly when turning to the next page. There is a lack of emphasis on key points, no examples to illustrate concepts, and no repetition to reinforce important information. Additionally, there is no summarizing at the end of the lessons. The slides presented are outdated and often irrelevant to the spoken content. From a didactic perspective, this course has significant room for improvement. However, the quality varies between instructors. I particularly liked Dr. Bailey and Dr. Scherrer, but the majority did not meet my expectations. Despite these issues, I completed the course and believe it provides a solid foundation. Compared to other Yellow Belt courses, which can be as short as a few hours, this specialization offers a more comprehensive basis for advancing to Green and Black Belt levels.

Some of the downloadable transcripts need to be checked. The reading outlay is not set up correctly and is an annoyance to fix.

The course is based on a text book that you have to read together with the videos. Videos don't provide too much information.

The course relies too much on reading the book. Which is not why we took the course. If we wanted to read the book we could've.
The instructors' presentations are very vague and all they do is just read what's written there... There is no practical assignments or hands-on training.
Overall, the course and the specialization is very weak.

"P(x)=n!/x!(n-x)!p↑x(1-p)↑(n-x)"??? Which school in this galaxy taught you to write equations like this??

I wish the last part of this section of the course, mainly module 4, focused on more practical examples of how this information would be useful to me. The examples used, especially in the quizzes, felt arbitrary. Why do I need to know what % chance of pulling a defective sample from a large group of products? In the modern world of QC / QA / Food Safety - we all know you cannot test / sample your way to high quality. It felt like a worthless exercise. Same thing with the questions of heights and the like.

As with all of the other courses with no handouts and nothing to annotate with notes, this and all of the other courses suck.
I didnt receive my certificate
