Gautam Kaul is really awesome. He just doesn't teach but really interacts with us even with online videos. It always feels like he can see me and is really talking to me personally.

Dr. Kaul touches on some key financial concepts that are important for everyone to understand. I like how he takes his time in teaching them and also tries to bring the concepts back to real life. Some of the questions in the quizzes are worded more complexly than in the teachings... which can becoming frustrating for some. Still, I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in understanding the basics of financial planning.

Practice tests were a litlle bit tough but the material was explained in easy way so I appreciated this course. Although it didn`t take much time, I learnt a lot of new information. Thank you!

Found Prof. Kaul's method of teaching effective and personal. The content was challenging without being overwhelming, an excellent place to begin the series.

Being new on using Coursera I started with this very basic level course just to have an idea of this platform and the content of course so I completely enjoyed doing this as I already was aware of the concept but at the same time I learnt to use TVM formulas on excel through this course looking forward to do some more courses but this time with some difficulty level.

I feel like this was a beneficial course for me. The math itself is very straightforward, but determining how to frame the problem was trickier. I found drawing a timeline to be helpful with the more complex problems.

I felt like a lot of time was spent on small talk and chatter, the information content was very low in comparison to the video lengths, which are unnecessarily long.

this course seems to be simple and really basic and has not much to offer if you know nothing about finance. if u are a beginner u can give it a shot
