I would like to thank you for letting me take this course. I learned a great deal of information as well as active listening, contact tracing, and epidemiology. I learned to work with difficult cases and contacts. I am really excited to obtain a position in this field as I can no longer work outside of my home. Excellent course! The communications skills taught within and the video examples can apply to any business endeavor - not just contact tracing. The narrator spoke very clearly and concisely, the videos were high quality, and the information was accessibly presented. This was a phenomenal learning. I am handling my daily work in the ER with expertise and knowledge. I love this program, she did an exceptional job presenting the material. She set up by explaining what she was going to teach me, summarized, and proceeded to teach, providing relevant real-life examples. She found out what we handled and catered examples to us to make the course meaningful. I am a certificate nursing assisted and have taken many similar courses - this was very well done.

Well-designed and thoughtfully organized, chock full of useful scientific information and valuable communication techniques. I liked the pacing of the modules and reinforcement of knowledge. The presenter and instructors in the videos were all excellent and relatable. Overall, I found this to be a high-quality and enjoyable learning experience. Although clear and concise, the material often became challenging.

Although I received a 93.66% on the final assessment, I would have received 100%, if I had gone with my first instinct!

Therefore, I am confident that I learned the material and will be able to assert myself comfortably, as a Contact Tracer!

I am so glad that I took this course. It was very informative and easy to follow. I learned more about COVID-19 and how effective tracing can help us as a society. The videos were very helpful as well as the problems that can be encountered. I have begun to pursue opportunities in this field, this course validated that my background and skill set would be a good fit for a Contact Tracer.

I can now apply what I have learned to affectively do my part in minimizing, educating and help others stop the spread of Covid 19 as a contact tracer.

The course is clear and easy to understand. The scenes of the two contact tracers showing what to do and not to do are very helpful. The doctor doing the main presentation doesn't have the greatest voice... a lot of vocal fry and an occasional ill-timed chuckle, but it's not terrible. The presentation and questions seem well designed overall, but there are a couple of typos to clean up.

This is an excellent course that explains what Covid 19 is and how it is spread. I appreciated the video examples of how a call is conducted. All information is in easy to understand language, but it is not dumbed down. All people should take this class even if they don't intend to be a contact tracer. This is important information to have in order to protect myself and my community.

Dr. Gurley's course was very informative. The modules were put together in a very tactful way. This course helped me to understand the symptoms of Covid and the steps that have to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease throughout the community. I especially enjoyed the examples of how to communicate with the Case's, in an effort to make the individuals feel safe and cared for.

Well this is an extremely useful and interesting short course not just for someone interested in learning contract tracing but for anyone who's interested in knowing more about COVID - 19. The learning material is very interesting, well -prepared, and easy to understand. You learn a lot about the virus, contract tracing, and also some really really good stuff on effective communication.

Please review questions 11 and 38. The instructions say select all that apply insinuating there is more than 1 answer when there is only 1 possible answer. I tried the test twice and I chose different answers besides the marked correct one but both times the other answers were marked wrong. This of course lowered my mark. Thank you for this course but please do check these 2 questions.

I found this course very easy to understand. There was a lot of information that was extremely interesting and will be very useful. I very much enjoyed the video's and then testing, it gave me confidence in that I really felt I was learning important facts. I am a retired Nurse of 28 years and really want to contribute to helping our New York area control this virus. Thank you so much.

As a public health worker, this is an essential certificate to complete during a pandemic. This certificate allows you to gain an in depth perspective on how to communicate with contacts and cases about the novel COVID-19. Also, you have videos to watch with real life scenarios for you to think critically on how to communicate with members of your community or a neighboring community.

Extremely helpful course, even though I am not a health worker neither I reside in US. This course helped me realise what may be the real ethical, emotional and practical issues that may arise out of this epidemic and how to deal with them. With basic understanding provided about all the important steps and terms related to Covid 19 and Contact Tracing, this course was really helpful.
