To learn Data Validation in Excel, start by exploring its options under the "Data" tab. Practice setting rules for inputs, such as limiting values or creating drop-down lists. Online tutorials and Excel courses offer step-by-step guidance for mastering this feature.

The three common types of Data Validation in Excel are numerical validation (restricting numerical values), text validation (limiting text inputs), and list validation (creating drop-down lists for predefined options).

Select the cell or range, go to the "Data" tab, click "Data Validation," choose a rule (e.g., number, list, or date), set criteria (e.g., range or values), and click "OK" to apply the validation.

To access the course materials, assignments and to earn a Certificate, you will need to purchase the Certificate experience when you enroll in a course. You can try a Free Trial instead, or apply for Financial Aid. The course may offer 'Full Course, No Certificate' instead. This option lets you see all course materials, submit required assessments, and get a final grade. This also means that you will not be able to purchase a Certificate experience.
