this course isnt very diverse when it comes to a paraplegic as myself. Most exercises are meant for people who can stand. I just wish that the course disclosed in the beginning that most of the material would be based off of people who are fully physically able. It would have been nice if there was at least one of the many videos that covered on exercises to do while sitting down and doing the speech.

Good, some useful tips, but I found some descriptions too vague and not specific enough. It would have been helpful to provide more exercises as well. Lastly, please use a spell checker before publishing these courses, as there were many spelling and grammatical errors throughout the course...rather embarrassing I must say.

This study emphasised the mechanisms which produce our voice when we talk or do not. It also taught us how to talk to an audience, using articulation, pitch and pace and the power of pausing. All of these were followed by physical exercises, for us to do, from an Introduction Speech we made up about ourselves. It also enabled us to learn how to speak monologues, using all of these elements to produce an effective way to pick a script, and use it for the exercises in enhancing the script. We also learnt how to breathe and centre and ground ourselves as needed, sit and notice our body, to become aware of how we are sitting, what we are doing, without altering anything. Elements to use when presenting a piece of writing, or a script and how to attract an audience's attention during a play or production, using articulation, pitch and pace and pause, to keep the audience interested and engaged with the performance.

This course has exceeded all my expectations, earning a well-deserved total rating. The course content was meticulously organized and covered all aspects of professional communication and public speaking. From the basics of voice modulation to advanced techniques in persuasive speaking, each module was comprehensive and engaging. The structure of the course allowed for a gradual build-up of skills, making it easy to follow and implement the techniques taught. The instructors were outstanding. They provided clear explanations, practical examples, and constructive feedback. The activities not only boosted my confidence but also honed my skills in a realistic setting.

I have given numerous presentations, and I have learned alot how the voice is made in the body, releasing tension in the body, using your mouth, lips, tongue, jaw to project your message and the power of the pause as just a few items. I came here because I was looking for a short business communication course. Well, maybe this course doesn't cover all aspect on business communication because is more focus for public speaking. Anyway they cover so many aspect for which I wasn't aware of, like how to stand, how to relax, and how to use my voice. I really suggest everybody to follow this course, it's short and provides a good summary for a beginner like me.

This course is great! I loved how it explores voice from all perspectives, starting with what's in your head, how tense you are, to great articulation practices. I would recommend it to anybody as long as they are patient, and are willing to spend their energy completing the exercises. For someone who is more reserved and shy, this course was ideal for improving overall professional presence.

The course was rewarding, but take it seriously and do it repetitively in order to discover growth, both in your confidence and in your delivery. There's a certain amount of times each person has to do a skill in order to perfect it. Once you figure that personal number for yourself' you'll be unstoppable.

Everything during this course was simply yet thoroughly explained, and, most important, "why" was always provided. By explaining people why and how each step is helpful, and the result of it, you give them motivation to follow these steps and practise, so the final and desired outcome is achieved.

I was hesitant at first about what I'd actually learn with this course. However, I'm very glad I decided to move forward because I now feel better equipped to speak in front of people. I'm no longer terrified. I have all the tools I need to no longer be a nervous "um" girl.
