The Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate is really great for beginners. It covers a wide range of cybersecurity topics. It could be better with more clarity on networking stuff, but the Linux, SQL, and Python parts were a lot of fun. The interactive labs were awesome too. Although you won't be able to become a pen testing CIA agent, the topics you will learn here will give you a strong foundation.

Excellent. I recommend this to all the freshers who are interested to come into the field of cyber security.

This beginner course, Foundation of cybersecurity is an eye opener, very detailed explanation and what I like most about the teaching methodology is the fact that each concept and stage is built on the foundation of knowledge from the previous. In conclusion, its next to noon. i I wish my fellow students and myself good luck and I give God all the glory for the journey so far.

It was a solid starting point for my foundation in cybersecurity through Coursera. It was detailed and easy to follow. It taught me core principles (CIA triad), Threats and vulnerabilities (common threat vectors) etc. culminating skills! plus learning to build my Profession portfolio. it's a perfect online learning style. easy to navigate. So happy I'm doing this for myself!

Through this course, I've expanded my understanding of cybersecurity, gaining core skills for a cybersecurity analyst and insights into the impact of security attacks on business operations. I now appreciate the importance of security ethics, can identify common tools used by analysts, and have acquired skills in NIST Cybersecurity Framework, INFOSEC, and historical attacks.

Great introduction into the world of Cybersecurity. I think that there should be a note about using Chaptgpt or Bard for content in some of the exercises. For example, writing the professional statement. Is it ok to walk through the exercises to get the data you need to write the statement. Then feed it to bard or chatgpt to write the statement for you. then you tweak it
