Solving the problems and challenges within the U.S. healthcare system requires a deep understanding of how the system works. Successful solutions and strategies must take into account the realities of the current system. This course explores the fundamentals of the U.S. healthcare system. It will introduce the principal institutions and participants in healthcare systems, explain what they do, and discuss the interactions between them. The course will cover physician practices, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and insurance and financing arrangements. We will also discuss the challenges of healthcare cost management, quality of care, and access to care. While the course focuses on the U.S. healthcare system, we will also refer to healthcare systems in other developed countries. In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. I am very disappointed to find that after completing the AI in Healthcare video course and submitting the final assessment, I was prompted to make an additional payment to receive the certificate. I had already purchased the course based on my budget, and there was no prior indication that further payment would be required upon completion. It feels unfair to be asked to pay more after investing time and effort to complete all modules, including the final one. I kindly request clarification on this matter and ask that you honor the course purchase and provide the completion certificate without additional charges. Looking forward to your response.

I subscribed to the specialization and the beginning course mentioned there was no math involved and catered to everyone in healthcare. This was misleading in one of the other courses they said "we lied and there is math involved". I feel this went into too much detail for machine learning and not beneficial for operations admin. I wish that was clearer in the title and description as I have wasted many hours on this specialization. I will not recommend coursera for my company and will push towards linked in and other learning platforms.

Too lengthy , questions are not objective , instructor does not touch upon points that are meant to read and , enrollees could be other than medical field not sure why lengthy objective questions are put up , even calculations related question for non usa background person not helpful. Very disappointed with too much verbiage too lengthy modules.
