If you're someone who wants to learn about UI/UX design and is only familiar with these terms, then this course is perfect for you. After completing this course, you will have a clear understanding of the topics that you should explore in greater depth. That's all about this course. Thank you.

There are lots of errors in the quiz, it's embarrassing

Me hubiera gustado tener mas sobre el uso de Figma.

The final assignment is awful the course itself is kinda ok, make sure you paid for your office or you are using a mac or else the .docx they give you does not have elements well placed, you need the desktop version Word. But hey, it works on my computer you know?

Peer grading from non professions in a UX field is dangerous. The assessment grade lowered my course grade. For instance, out of 2 graders one identified I had the personas photo on my journey map. If one saw it how did the other not? Also, on the low fidelity wireframe the graders agreed that there was a place to select times for dining, but in the high fidelity prototype only one said it was present. In UX the low fidelity wireframe is what tells your high fidelity what needs to be designed. It's the blueprint. So there was no way that should have been graded that way. Also, one out of two said there was no place to put the customers information, when in the low fidelity wireframe they both agreed there was. This is a nuisance to professionals who actually take this serious and deserve fair grading. They should be graded by other professionals. Thanks.

This course was absolutely painful to follow, nothing was clear, the videos didn't seem to follow a particular order. (gives me a test to do then teaches me how to do it the next week, tells me to follow the "provided" stuff that wasn't provided) took me a veeeery long time to go through

lacks of toturial videos , and vague texts . it is a real waste of time

This course was incredibly beneficial to my development as a software engineer. I have gained massive respect for UX/UI Designers and I'm glad I was able to learn the basics. As I move forward, I'll be looking at designs for software with a more keen eye and make note of what works in designs and become a better designer as I go. Excellent course, I'm eager to learn more!

Although the Coursera platform is still vulnerable to unfair grading in Peer-Review Assignments, the course itself was awesome. I really liked how the pace (speed) was saved from the beginning right to the end. The host, actually, felt as if that was an AI-avatar. But, nevertheless, the core I gained from this course is very valuable and strong. Thank you!

Actually, When compared to other courses this is a good one because of how comprehensive of it, and also covered all the aspects which are needed for a beginner and if you have some hw experience before like basic designing skill and if you want to upgrade it with established theories this is a good place to start your next journey. This was one of my favorite courses in the Meta Front-End Development curriculum. Learning how to use the Figma tool was very engaging and valuable. I did not expect to like this course as much as I did and I can highly recommend taking this course for learning the basics of UX and UI design.

The IBM UX/UI course on Coursera gave me a solid foundation in user research, wireframing, and prototyping. The lessons are clear and beginner-friendly, with useful hands-on projects. It’s a great starting point, though some sections felt a bit basic if you already have design experience.

Sometimes it feels like too much additional reading if you want to read it all, you also need premium account on Medium platform otherwise you can not read all the articles provided on additional reading section. Overall interesting retrospective and core principles of design and UX/UI.

The course was fairly challenging, especially the final project was a great hands-on experience and gave me a lot of opportunities to learn. I am more confident working with Figma now thanks to this course and also feel comfortable working on UI/UX design.

I completed the Principles of UX/UI Design Course, and it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I enrolled, I was impressed with the course structure, content quality, and overall learning experience.

This course exceeded my expectations. I found the heuristics section was thought-provoking and liked the different levels required for the work in Figma. I think this is a very solid foundation for my future endeavors.
