This is a very inspired starting point in learning programming skills in Python. I'm very glad I finished this course and I consider I learnt a lot. Thank you Coursera for facilitating this.

Solid, entertaining intro to programming and Python. Dr. Chuck does a good job of not overwhelming in the first course while giving enough info to get us started on the road to programming.

For those who are new to the Python programming language, it offers an easy learning opportunity thanks to the simplicity of the language and the reinforcement of the subject with homework.

The content is easy to follow, even if one has no prior programming experience. The examples help to understand basic concepts of python language and put into practice what has been taught.

Thanks for allowing financial aid in such a great course like this. Sir Charles Severance is really a great teacher. The way of his explanation is make you understand the topic so easily.

Excellent course. Dr. Chuck is so cool. I'm from mechanical background and I don't know the P in python but because of dr. chuck, I am able to learn the basics of python programming easily.

The course will introduce you python from the basic. I really like Dr Charles Russell Severance

way of teaching. Also do watch the bonus videos. They are entertaining and valuable as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Dr Charles has done a great job presenting the core programming concepts with Python. With these new skills I'm motivated to further learn advanced topics.

This was a very exciting course, the lectures were paced very nicely and the lecturer explained everything to the latter.

I already took an introduction to programming class in Python at my University but I never learned it this way. The class was very enjoyable and the teacher explained everything so clearly!

This course is no doubt very useful but I think you should teach more keywords and more practice although its an amazing course, instructor is very engaging and made course very interesting

Easy to follow for a beginner. The assignments are quite helpful with moderate hardship; they allow you to practice writing a code, check the error and improve your code so that it can run.

Best way to start programming. Incredible coach, well taught, and guided. It will not take you more than 4 days to complete, even if you are totally new to Python or programming in general.
