I have recently completed the "Sustainable and Resilient Operations Management" course, and I found it to be highly valuable for understanding how businesses can integrate sustainability and resilience into their operations. The course provided deep insights into key concepts such as sustainable supply chains, risk management, and operational strategies that are both environmentally and economically viable. It also highlighted the importance of adapting to disruptions while maintaining a commitment to sustainability. The course's practical approach, with real-world case studies and interactive assignments, allowed me to apply the knowledge gained to various industries. I particularly appreciated how it emphasized the importance of long-term thinking and strategic planning in building resilient operations that can withstand market changes and environmental challenges. The course contained few lectures, but most of the education was via articles that were linked in the course. While the articles were informative, I prefer some more lectures. Also, many of the test questions contained answer options that were diametrically opposed, which is far too easy. IE: sustainable production increases CO2 or decreases CO2.
