The Google's learning program course is very useful for IT learner because it provides real practice with virtual machine on Windows and Debian\Linux interface. We will use both practicing with GUI and CLI.

Be able to get a legitimate basic understanding of everything, and not just hodgepodge information from videos and self-teaching was very helpful in making sure information I have taught myself was correct.

Very good intro to the material, appropriate for someone with no background. For me much of the material was review (but I'm not mad about it!) I feel ready to move on to some more challenging subjects now.

I really like this course. Information is compact, necessary, up-to-date and it was fun to learn. The hard things were described simply and in the way I could understand them without many further questions.

I learned a lot of useful information and found some very useful links in the supplemental reading. I'm trying to get into the IT field and this broad overview was a great thing to have right off the bat.

Having no background in computers other than being a user this course is definitely a good starting point for helping me to understand the intricacies of what is going on inside of the machine and internet.
