An interdisciplinary curriculum for data-driven strategy

The Master of Science in Data Science program, sits at the unique intersection of computer science, statistics, and business applications. Co-taught by experts from five distinct university departments, it provides a holistic perspective on the entire data lifecycle, from collection and modeling to strategic interpretation.

You will learn to do more than just analyze data; you will be trained to translate it. The coursework is intentionally designed to equip you with the skills to build predictive models, design effective experiments, and clearly communicate your findings to drive real-world business impact and inform leadership decisions.

Master statistical modeling and inference
Go beyond basic analytics to build sophisticated statistical models, conduct rigorous A/B testing, and draw valid conclusions from complex datasets.
Build end-to-end data pipelines
Learn the computer science skills needed to collect, clean, and manage large-scale data, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis.
Translate complex insights into business value
Develop vital skills in data visualization and communication to present technical findings clearly and persuasively to non-technical stakeholders.
Gain proficiency in essential data science tools
Become fluent in the core programming languages and platforms of the trade, including Python, R, and SQL, to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
