I have zero experience in programming. I thought the learning modules were really great and easy to understand. However, there is a huge leap in the knowledge presented compared to the understanding needed during the test portions of each module. I didn't really appreciate getting to the test sections and having no idea how to complete the exercise when no examples or information was given to allow me to figure it out.

I liked the hands on method. No need to install an IDE and skips, for now, the formal aspects of C++. A few conventions, as far as I know, are deprecated: material shows "using namespace", no brace initialization, feels a little old fashioned.

There were some bugs when the system tried to grade the questions; didn't work properly sometimes

The codio platform is rigid and will penalise you for even the tiniest mistake (and non mistake).
