This course could have been far better. It was incredibly frustrating to try and follow along with the examples and several of the practice quizzes used files from previous sections/modules that weren't mentioned as being needed for future practice in the course. It is also very weird that earlier sections are set up as temporary workspaces in R Cloud, and later ones work from files that we should have saved but aren't provided.

This course had a few pitfalls. When using RStudio Cloud it would not allow the installation of the Penquins packages and also there were no instructiions on how to import an excel or csv file into the RStudio Cloud working directory. That was frustrating and made it very difficult to do the assignments. Something I think the course administators should look into. Overal great course though.

They ask you to follow along , but don't list or talk about what all they are doing. So I was continually running into errors and having to problem solve or back track in the videos several times to see what was different with my code. They also would ask to load packages that Postit Cloud doesn't have access to, so I was unable to follow along.

This was a great introductory course in R; however it wasn't as comprehensive as other courses that I attended before.

Another thing I didn't like is the fact that this was supposed to be the ACT phase of the data analysis process, but we did everything other than that. It was a repetition of the other phases using R.

I felt there were some gaps between the tutorials and the actual execution in R. The tutor was great, explained concepts well but there is a huge gap between what is between shown and the actual work a student may be doing. Easy for someone with a coding background but for a beginner it was very hard to follow.

I really enjoyed this course, and learning about Data Analysis with R Programming. However, when taking numerous exams, I received a "processing error" after writing my code chunks after I began the exam. The only thing I could do was guess, and then pray I got the answer right. This happened NUMEROUS times.

I think the information is valuable and the woman presenting it is lovely, but the explaining went too fast, and if it is a course aimed to beginners, we need to know what we're doing, not just write things and say we will explore it later. I liked R, but will need further training to understand it.

Video & Reading sections could be combined using rmd-based follow alongs. Questions are sometimes irrelevant (too much focus on names instead of actual use) or childish (the open questions "How would you use this bla bla bla". Obviously, there is zero bias caused by loving Matlab and hating R ;-)

It's a good opportunity for students to practice and apply their knowledge, which would help to reinforce their understanding of the material. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to learn the basics of R Markdown and improve their skills in creating reproducible documents."

When I started it was a little confusing because a lot of the practice assignments were missing information that was found in the forum. I started with another tutorial on YT to get the basics instead. There's a lot of room for improvement with this course.

Excellent material (videos, hands-on activities, and readings). However, the quiz questions are not consistent. The best quiz questions actually test your ability to write R code; the worst just evaluate if the student can parrot phrases.

The instructor needs to work on being able to prepare us for what she will be doing. At times, she didnt provide clarity on the things she was doing. For example, she would talk about x and y axis in ggplot without first introducing them.

This course was a nice introduction to R, and covered a lot of information if you are just starting on this journey to becoming a data analyst. You will have to continue with additional studies and practice to be completely comfortable.

I did not feel this lesson was written as well as previous lessons. I feel like large chunks were left out and I will need to fill in the gaps on my own. I feel like several important aspects were alluded to but not actually taught.

R is good but a bit complicated and has a high learning curve for people with no programming background. I think it would be better it replace this with Google sheets and teach how to create dashboards and do data analytics with it

The instructor is decent and taught ggplot especially well but I found the content lacking. Felt bloated like most of the other Google courses and thought it could have more practical questions in hands-on activities.

A good start and introduction, but a lot of just listen and copy along versus real problem solving and application. The tests are a joke that don't really determine your skill or learning.

While I did learn I don’t feel it prepared me well enough and they separated everything so much and then expect you to know and remember how to put everything you did together by yourself

I felt like the information could have been explained more clearly. Also, it would have been helpful to have more illustrations to explain the topic or concept that was discussed.

I personally got problems with the quizzes, in the part of R programming, because despite I put the correct code that the course gives you as feedback. It still doesn't worked.

This course covers a lot of material, especially for people who are not used to using R. I wish the instructor was a little more descriptive with the explanations.

A decent presentation of concepts. Could offer better grounding on more difficult concepts. Sometimes assessments and prior instruction could be better aligned.

I found this course confusing. Some of the videos seemed to be out of order. It would have been beneficial to place the videos before the hands on activities.

I encountered many issues within RStudio. I tried finding solutions online but it wasn't helpful. I contacted coursera multiple times but never got an answer.
