Labs & HW are really good practice for maximizing use of the features in excel and Cognos

Learning about IBM data analytics Cognos was very helpful

The course was nice and fun. It taught me many things, like - 1. Visualizing your data using Charts in Excel 2. PivotCharts and other advanced charts 3. Creating dashboards in Microsoft Excel 4. Creating dashboards and reports in Cognos Analytics, and (optional) Looker Studio 5. Advance capabilities like Blending and Filtering data in Data Source in Looker Studio Some things that I didn't liked about this course are:- 1. The visualization with Cognos and Looker module was not in much detail. Even after completing the whole module, I still have some unanswered questions. 2. I observed that in some places, the instuctions were unclear in both videos and labs. 3. I didn't liked the whold Cognos Analytics part. There is no free or learners variant of this tool available. They only offer us a free trial for a limited days, which will expire by the time you reach the Final Capstone Project of your Professional Certificate program. (That's why, in this course, I focused on Looker instead of Cognos). If they had a free version or a version made especially for learners, I would have chosen Cognos, and given this course more stars. 4. There are no video lectures for Looker Studio. You have to go through multiple readings to understand its workin. Which, in my opinion, is not enough. 5. Final Project. I had made my final project in Looker Studio, and the peers graded me much lower as they were comparing my work to the output of Cognos Analytics. Which is not at all justified.

Documents should be updated when the system updates. Also, more learning around creating Visulaizations such as Treemaps and Heat Maps

Information needs to be updated. Too much information not mentioned in the course but asked in the project, very confusing. Unless you already have a strong basic knowldege and research ability, otherwise you need to spend a lot of extra time figuring out the answers for not complicated questions just because the informationn mismatched. If you have trouble learning the material, I want you to know, it is not your problem, they claim the course doesn't need prior knowledge, which is not true The way how they teach make it impossible. I took other detailed courses before, which is why I was able to finish this course, but experiencing a lot of unnecessary strugglings. If you already have some visiuoalization experiece, you may give it a shot. Overall, I don't think this is an mazing course as they claimed.

I paid 40$ each month. The course lasts 11 months, and I have only 1 month trial permission.

Do not mention promotion codes. I interupted when I used it.

Bad experiences.

Issue published year ago with labs 4-6 still isn't solved.

Learned absolutely nothing.
