Knowing Duke´s prestige and being completely honest I was expecting something much more coprenhensive and didactic. Zero Effort law from the lecturer was another point, how is it possible that some corrective banners were needed to correct him!!?? Unpresendent in my Coursera experience.

It was a very good course with many details for the electric power system.

However i found it only focused in the US system withoutmany references in the European system.

The technical aspects are very interesting and enlightening

The legislative side is very US oriented and tedious

I do not understand the grading system, why the instructions are so poorly written and who grades - obviously someone that does not speak/read/understand the English language with any accuracy. The instructions are not specific enough for proper research and response, include many spelling and grammar errors (a simple spell check is a basic part of creating documents), the abbreviations used in the instructions create confusion in the context of the sentence and request, contain incomplete sentences, open sentences, include many incorrect uses of nourns, adverbs, etc. Many of the peer review papers were written so badly I gave up reading them; however, noting how my papers were graded, I am sure they were passed with 100% grades.

The instructor didn't respond to the questions on the discussion form. Moreover in the course videos, the instructor seems to be simply reading a pre-written prepared lecture; it is not spontaneous.
