This course will give you the tools you need to be emotionally and socially intelligent in your workplace. Having the ability to master ESI gives employees a distinct advantage in their positions. It allows them to access their emotional center while managing their relationships with their team members. Competencies associated with emotional and social intelligence are often what separates an average performer from a great one. And, unlike our overall intelligence, emotional intelligence can be learned and improved over time. In this course, we will explain the value of emotional and social intelligence for professional success. The course itself contained a lot of useful information. Some of the best information coming from external readings and youtube videos linked in the course. The reason I deducted a star is that there were numerous scoring issues with the quizzes, (every final quiz for each module had at least one question where the grading was demonstrably wrong), there were no download links for each video for downloading the videos and the transcripts, and there were sections in the course where you were expecting additional lessons to fill out the teachings, but there was nothing. The core of the course is solid, it just needs a little added work and some needed fixes to get it to 5 stars!

I found this course to be very eye opening in terms of recognizing my own faults and areas of improvement. However I feel that it was much harder to implement changes and develop the good habits advised. I think the one directional communication channel makes it difficult to sort out individual challenges that might be better tackled with expert advice.

It was a good course, highlighting crucial points to consider. However, I didn't give it a five because the material was a bit dry to read and understand. Yet, it motivated me to try hard and learn more.

Overall good, learnt a lot of new things but could be structured a bit better in my opinion especially in terms of the quizzes, they could have been multiple choice questions
