The link for some 'Fundamental Definitions' is broken in the FUndamentals of Equities course. I was making good progress and now I am stalled and time is wasting away. Alex.Zanders 952.353.6944

I recently enrolled in the Equities Fundamentals course provided by Interactive Brokers on Coursera as a Coursera Plus member. I started the course on February 14, 2025, and the course description mentioned that I needed to complete it within a 4-6 week period. However, today I found out that my access to the quiz has been locked because my time is up, and the course is now inaccessible. While I was impressed by the course content and the platform overall, I am quite disappointed with how this situation was handled. There was no prior warning or notification about the upcoming deadline, which left me unable to complete the quiz and finish the course as planned. I believe Coursera should improve their communication regarding course deadlines, perhaps by sending timely reminders or notifications to ensure students can complete their courses within the given timeframe. This experience has left me frustrated, and I hope Coursera takes steps to address this issue for future learners.

I found this course a waste of time. It is an advertisement rather than a learning course!!! The videos are fast and do not highlight important content. The most useful part is the links they offer that talk about the basics, which you can easily google. My only motivation to finish this course is to give a one-star rate!

A course where the main focus lies on advertising their trading platform. 20% of the course is about the trading platform, 40% of the course is links to reading materials not prepared by them. You can finish the course in around 2 hours if you are not interested in their trading platform.

the course 80% is tutorial about their platform , which is really annoying
