A good high level overview of the topics, including product life cycles, corporate responsibility and governance. I found the insights into Insurance as an environmental protection measure particularly novel and interesting. It's very US - centric, which I think ought to be made clear in the course overview. As an aside, I wish prof. Light would stop beginning her sentences with the word "so"!

Good overview of this field for beginners. Gives background on environmental issues impacting businesses and the world. Well organized, good clear presentation. I must note that I was hoping for more "actionable" thoughts for businesses; aside from a few very broad strokes these weren't a major part of the course.

Aprendi bastante com diversas informações. Infelizmente, as regulações só focaram nos EUA que é diferente do que acontece em outros países. Então, ficamos mais limitados na parte regulatória.

A great introduction to the legal and regulatory angle of ESG, including private sector initiatives, product stewardship, and greenwashing.

A comprehensive ESG course for the beginners. The course covers some basic yet important ESG standards and principals i.e. TCFD, SFRD etc.

I think in general it's quite US-focused. It would be more helpful if there were more cases from other countries presented in the course.

Would have appreciated a global perspective as well, especially Asia which is much more affected by ESG issues

Very focus on the U.S. reality. Could be much better if would bring the different approaches of the major players on sustainability worldwide, specially comparing more with the regulations at the EU as a leading player on environmental law and performance.

It would be more useful for those who are located in US or working with US companies, as the laws and regulations are about US laws and reg.
