My interest in herbalism and alternate medicine brought me to this course. It was very informative indeed and I made notes often. The tests are also to the point. Thank you, professors and Coursera!

A very nice program for understanding the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Quite analogous to the Ayurvedic Medicine that deals with imbalance of vata (air), pittha (fire) and kapha (cold).

The course was very interesting and rich in content, but I found it quite difficult to follow at times. Many of the terms used were not clearly explained, or they were introduced only once and not repeated later. If you're not already familiar with traditional Chinese medicine vocabulary, it’s easy to get lost. I think it would be much more helpful if key terms were briefly explained or reminded every time they are used, especially for beginners. That way, learners wouldn't feel so confused or overwhelmed.

hay problemas en las evaluaciones sobretodo en las respuestas donde hay que escribir ya que a pesar de escribir bien hay casos donde el sistema los toma como mal respuesta. deja aprendizajes pero la forma en que se exponen los videos no motiva mucho seguir viendolos.

Some of the lecturers can only be understood when reading the transcript due to their pronunciation problems. The additional readings are not free like in other courses. There is no feedback to reported technical problems and no feedback from the lecturers and/or assistants to clarify when students got problems of understanding. The name indicates, that knowledge from this course could be used in everyday life, which is not the case. It is more a superficial course on Chinese medical theory.
