Overall a great course with relevant use of material. Suggestion for improvement-the balance scorecard. Knowing how that might be used in organizations would be helpful. Also, a few more case studies in the videos would be good. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to further their knowledge in decision making based accounting.

Professor Hecht is Cool, Calm and Collective when delivering this course. It was a great review of past Management Accounting courses and provided some new learning on Capital Budgets

Professor Hecht was thorough and broke down all aspects of the course work. The knowledge gained from this course will assist across all fields.

It is great and helpful, but I think it is kind of needed to be updated such as unavailable links to materials and some errors on the textbook.

Did not find it relevant to my business, and had trouble identifying where exactly to find the content regarding what was being asked in the exam quizzes. For Week 3, I would have liked to see more working examples of activity, material cost, and sales mix variances. I'm not sure if it was just me, or whether other terms for Spending, Efficiency and Activity variances were being used interchangeably. Overall, in my personal situation of running health clubs, it was fairly unhelpful, although I found it good to hear and become familiar with some common accounting processes, to help with future study. The discussion on subjective evaluation and employee controllability was interesting.

Extremely basic if you are doing the high engagement for credit portion of the course. Cases are much more difficult and exam is even harder.

The course content is good but the teacher is boring and sometimes gets confused through the explanation of the exercises
