课程概述

The Capstone project enables you to demonstrate multiple skills from the Certificate by solving an authentic real-world problem. Each module includes a brief recap of, and links to, content that you have covered in previous courses in this program. This course will test your knowledge and understanding, and provide you with a platform to show off your new abilities in front-end web development using React. During this course, you will be guided through the process of building an app, combining all the skills and technologies you've learned throughout this program to solve the problem at hand. On completion of the Capstone project, you’ll have a job-ready portfolio that you can show to recruiters, demonstrate during interviews and impress potential employers. To complete this course, you will need front-end developer experience. Additionally, it always helps to have a can-do attitude!...

Best Course Module in the Certificate as it's much more practical and relays on Your understanding of the concepts and Trial and Error develops deep understanding of how things are functioning.

It has been an amazing learning journey, I gained a lot of strong skills building the capstone project. This was a good choice.

The capstone project is a very good summary and recap of the previous eight courses of the program. In that sense it is a great opportunity to revisit all sections and retry things. On the bad side, the course is not moderated - do not expect to have any questions responded to by the course authors. Quite a few instructions in many exercises are unclear and so the user is left to figure things out and produce results that are not necessarily intended by the course authors. Some tasks are impossible to achieve with the knowledge and tools provided - take fetching the APIs in Module 3 as an example. Users have been posting for months that it does not work yet no feedback was received. Finally it would be great if a sample capstone project could be provided as a zip file for course finishers as a reference of how Meta imagines writing such applications. Otherwise we are left with our own ideas or ideas of people whose work we have reviewed.

"I found the Front-End Developer Capstone course to be a comprehensive and engaging experience. The course provided a well-structured approach to front-end development, covering essential topics with practical examples. The hands-on projects were particularly beneficial, allowing me to apply what I learned in a real-world context. The instructor's explanations were clear and insightful, making complex concepts easier to grasp. Overall, I feel more confident in my front-end development skills and am grateful for the opportunity to complete this capstone."

It was challenging course. I gained a lot of knowledge for frontend development and UX/UI design skillset. I scored star 4 because the explanation or introduction wasn't very clear for beginners and API to fetch from database is not accessible anymore, which means some parts need to be updated.

There is a problem in the chaining of courses such the UI/UX and The control version and the interview lesson.the UI/UX MUST HAVE BEEN RİGHT AFTER CSS and HTML or the best must have been before any html and css to make people understand the design mindset then with that design mindset it would have been better to undertsand css and html and especially css which is a real pain and so distaracting and not easy to perceive so knowing ui with figma and also use it thru css and html course would have been better .and it would have been better if this certificate had two capstone projects one after UI/UX AND ADVANCED HTML AND CSS just to engrave the concept of designing and styling and then entering in javascript and react . and two lessons for react is not enough it must have been another lesson wih four projects in it concentrating on the on pratical side by projecting the student to real life projects where he can see his weak points and can digest more the concept of react and in the end another capstone that have all inside it and instead of peer to peer it must have been real teachers making their remarks and evaluating the projects .so ectra two lessons and reordering the courses may have been a better experience but in genral it is a good begining

The explanations were really bad partially. You should implement sth. for instance and in the review you asked yourself if you clicked on the wrong self review, because assignments and review questions were so different. What I liked about it, was, that it dealed with almost everything that seems to matter.

it was comprehensive and detailed project however I was disappointed to see the solution to the capstone, it only showed how the UX/UI design works but no background coding that could help us to learn more about data fetching when a function is involved and how the useReducer hooks works. very disappointing

It was fun to develop a web app for a little lemon restaurant. I gained many new skills and troubleshooted many issues myself. however, a lot of reading resources make this course very long, and the API needs to be fixed, which frustrates the learner.

It's a good and challenging course, but there are some technical problems that aren't negligible, which, in my case, led me to develop innovative solutions that greatly contributed to my learning.

DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COURSE OR COURSERA! A good project for the portfolio, but appalling course content with no quality control. Out of order content, poor guidance, assessments asking if we have done things that haven't been asked for nor covered in the course before that point, broken content meaning unable to complete the project correctly and having to find workarounds. Then when it gets to the final project peer reviews, after putting all that time and effort into it all, it didn't go into any detail at all only asking for very basic things in the marking criteria. Meta should be embarrassed having their name on the entire Front-End Developer specialisation which has been poor quality throughout. Bad ordering of content, incorrect answers on tests, further reading links behind paywalls, no proof reading, reporting issues does not help as you can see people have been complaining about the same things for years in the forums, this list could go on for days. Coursera should be refunding those of us that have wasted our money on it. I would advise anyone DO NOT take this course and go and learn it all somewhere else instead, much better quality content is available elsewhere for FREE. Also, most of the other students seem to be submitting nonsense and hope that their fellow fraudulent students get given their submissions to mark and they give each other 100% without having done any of the work. Coursera obviously haven't done anything to try and curtail this as it's been going on for a long time, and as anybody can get the certificates this way, it makes them completely worthless for those of us that have invested time and money in it.
