Unfortunately, I have to say that this has been the worst course on Coursera I have taken so far. First of all, you are often confused and lost during the lessons (because the step-by-step are not well explained when tackling new functions/tools). Second, it took more than a week for someone from staff come and answer one of my comments on the forum (and in the meanwhile some other student wrote that they were facing the same issues and no one would answer them)! Finally, during the videos it keeps poping-up messages about what the person in the video forgot to say, or that there was a mistake in the code line they wrote in the video, or that a peace of information was missing (it's really low level). I mean, this is one of the most famous courses on Data Analysis and it should be much better. I give two stars: one for the person instructing (because she is funny), and another for the tasks that help understanding the content.

Instructor is talent, but materials was NOT sufficient and took more time to search around. Course only focused on using one tool for SQL "Big Query" which half of functions could not be performed onto it due to free version available for education is only limited to "reviewing" functions NOT editing. I think we should have include other tools also as MySQL or PG. By the end of the course there was whole section about developing your resume which is way too early because they even mentioned "don't do this recommendations before to finish the course" then why the heck they show it in the middle of the course schedule? Also the course needed to include more practice on Github & Kaggle more than just reading links. Overall I did not relay on this course for cleaning data as much as outside sources. Please improve.

Like all other courses in this certificate so far (this is the 4th, I'm super disappointed that the course material is still focusing on common sense/common knowledge instead of actual practical skills in data analytics. Direct teaching statement from the course "If you need the data for female voters and received the data for male voters, restate your needs" -- seriously? Students don't need a word by word approach to how to generally function in a work setting. The content of the course is wasting time that students could be using on actually learning data analytics skills, from other providers.

I loved the SQL part however, About Big Query watch out guys I had an issue with my billing and honestlly I think that considering we are here learining making you add a credit card to write data into google big querry is a shame, they should let us know that the tool only allows read and not write therefore not all excercises are available for students.

complex example used made it more difficult plus the method showned in big querry were not curent so could not follow and understand when i was using big querry . OUT OF ALL THE COURSE FINSED 6 IN PROFFESTIONAL COURSE THIS COURSE NEEDS SOME SEROIUS EDITING . FOR FIST TIME LEARNER THIS COURSE IS NOT AT ALL EASY

RESUME PART AND 4 AND 5 WEEK ARE GOOD.

SQL queries sometimes work, sometimes don't, which drives you crazy because you don't know if you are doing something wrong when you copy and paste and it still will not work, many hours of time lost figuring out what might be the problem, and the problem is the course. I guess the course is not updated.

This course was 90% tedious videos and readings. The lack of hands-on practice to solidify the skills covered was frustrating. For instance, 3+ videos on "why changelogs are important", followed by a brief reading on IMPORTRANGE, QUERY, and FILTER functions with zero application?!

For someone who is trying to learn having the images that walk you through the steps really do need to match. The concepts might be the same but if there has been a change and its no longer even listed that way any longer it makes learning what to do very frustrating

The instructor is good but there is a drop-sync with the exam. We are taught to use UPDATE to add customer information; that is marked as wrong on the exam. The substring link to refresher does not contain substring directions. Please review.

I needed more time to complete the course than was allowed on the big quesry free trial. there should be a longer subscription that comes included with this course. I also dont need resume help so it would be nice if that section was optional

I felt that the course was not designed well for the sandbox, very often while following along I got errors like

DML queries are not allowed in the free tier. Set up a billing account to remove this restriction.

This was frustrataing.

Barley any material to work through. If I was completely new I'd barley learn a thing. The instructor is great but should provide more training excercises. ex Codecademy's coureses are so far VERY much superiour in their teachings.

I think the content is good but the flow of the course got scrambled. not sure how but. it seems the one is finished and the next is only partial but it seems the system does not want to move off this one.

There were instances where I was supposed to follow along with the instructor but I was not provided the files needed to be able to follow along

Wasn't iterative. I don't know if it was the course instructor or what. I'll just have to supplement my learning with other resources.

Final test was unclear and half of the course is about finding a job in data analysis not about process data or anything related.
