This course is an absolute must for beginners and product professionals who are looking to refresh their skills. I enjoyed the well-structured curriculum and real-life career cases in each module.

Rightly articulated and well structured covering all that is needed for an introduction. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to gain a solid foundation in Product Management.

Excellent course content. My only comment is on the speed and tone of the narration, which I found to be too fast and slightly aggressive.

Sometimes the experts don't bring any value. The quizzes contains dummy answers. Overall it is a good course to structure your knowledge.

UPDATED 10/7: What started off as a great experience has turned into a very frustrating testing experience. I've run into a least a couple of instances where the correct answer was marked as incorrect, at least according to the transcripts of the videos of the course. Additionally, when retaking an quiz/exam, after the first attempt and seeing a couple of answers incorrect and researching the correct answer and retaking the same quiz, it refuses to keep the new answers and rescore it properly. I've reached out to support with no response. I've also done the regular things on my end such as reboot, delete browser cache, and change browsers, all with the same response. I was expecting high quality and for the most part it is but when the exam portion doesn't work properly or is inaccurate, it makes for a poor experience. ----- Much better format than I expected. I appreciate the mix of videos, reading, activities, sample quizzes, and final exams. The fact that the entire course is a process and not just checking off videos is great! It makes you feel (and know) what you're learning isn't surface-based but a complete program that will help equip you for a position or solidify and certify what you've learned over years but have never made official. Great course, one I highly recommend.

This is the third IBM course that I have enrolled in through Coursera. While IBM courses have good content and have been helpful to me, I must address the subpar video production for the visual content on these courses. It is hard to accept that IBM does not allocate enough resources to produce acceptable video quality for its classes. As a videographer, this is just unbearable. There are thousands of YouTube videos with higher production value than the IBM courses’ visuals currently offer. And boring, terribly lit, laptop camera video output makes the content feel cheap and lackluster. If there were one suggestion for IBM courses at Coursera, I would make the videos up to par with what every YouTuber knows: light your videos properly, and, for God’s sake, STOP USING YOUR LAPTOP’S CRAPPY VIDEO CAMERA AS YOUR MAIN VIDEO SOURCE.

Good introduction to the lingo and basics of product management. Best part was the expert videos of product management experience and tips. Things to improve: MCQs - mostly easy to work out without even needing to read the material - lots of questions where there is one long correct answer, and three silly incorrect ones. Scenarios - some of these didn't have much detail, which made it hard to comment on them. The final one was a perfect product with a perfect development project, so it was difficult to think of improvements. Would have been nice to have some obstacles or complexities to comment on.

Good foundational content; however, the Expert video interviews were not useful. The insights shared were redundant with the rest of the content and between the people being interviewed. They went on for too long and felt like the course creators were trying to fill time. It would have been much more interesting and useful to have one person share a case study highlighting the specific skill/concept rather than seven people repeating generalities.

Its a solid introduction, but there is a big gap oin validating your learnings. The graded tasks are frankly too easy, with most questions being too obvious. The more workshop based tasks are great, but they really need a video/more material to walk you through the right answers/approach - I have nothing to compare my work to.

Content is fine but the method of delivery (hours of pre-recorded videos with some reading) isn't the most engaging. Also the assessment questions are pretty poor quality. Multiple choice with one obvious answer and all the other options are silly/facetious.

This is a good overview, but some of the lab work is vague and there's no way to really check your answers against either other students or against feedback from course instructors. Additionally, there are numerous typos in some of the quizzes.
