A quick introduction to the topics. Would like 1 or 2 more complex lectures at the end of weeks 3 and 4 as a teaser for some of the work to come.

Very basic and introductive to the following courses of the specialization path. Very clear explanation, waiting for the rest of the course.

Good overview, but not very detailed - very quick to go through and not for anyone who already knows something about the area of study.

This was a little light, despite the fact that this is not my area of expertise. It was a goo start overall, tho.

The lectures were too long and drawling. It would have been nice if lecture slides and readings were provided.

The course is very concentrated and short. I suggest to add more time and explain things in more detail.

The first 3 weeks are very engaging and informative.

Unfortunately, week 4 made an extremely abrupt switch to very abstract discussions of statistics, and the paper in the final project completely killed my interest. Even though I passed on my first attempt, it convinced me not to spend any more time on the specialisation.

The course is extremely basic & outdated. Data science part comes only in the last part of the course, the content could definitely be enhanced with the inclusion of few latest technology information and developed research paper for project work (current project work paper is 21-years-old)

Totally introductory course. If you have biological science background, you don't need to take it. If you are not, then you might take it. But you'll find it difficult at the end of the course(project).
